The James Cohan Gallery is pleased to invite you to DARFUR/DARFUR, a traveling exhibit of digitally-projected changing images that provide visual education about the richly multi-cultural region, while exposing the horrors of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The event will present a dramatic projection of photographs taken in Darfur by former U.S. Marine Brian Steidle and photojournalists Lynsey Addario, Mark Brecke, Helene Caux, Ron Haviv, and Paolo Pellegrin, accompanied by traditional Sudanese music. This is a one night event.

$100 - Individual Ticket, $1000 - Friend (includes 4 tickets and a special exhibition print), $2500 - Sponsor (includes 6 tickets and a special exhibition print).

Benefit reception with speakers Brian Steidle, a Former U.S. Marine, John Prendergast, a policy analyst with the International Crisis Group, and acclaimed actress and social advocate Mia Farrow. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails donated by Bottino and Starr African Rum.

8:00 – 10:00 pm Open to the public $20 per person suggested donation at the door. Live music by Modiba Productions.

Funds raised in connection with Darfur/Darfur will be used to provide advocacy for solutions to the crisis in Darfur and to assist NGOs providing on the ground medical and social care in the region.
