Tabaimo at the Review Panel
National Academy Museum & School of Fine Arts

As part of a panel of reviewers, Tabaimo will be discussed by Dore Ashton, Joshua Mack, Stephen Maine, and David Cohen.The National Academy Museum and School of Fine Arts, in conjunction with, presents the next season of The Review Panel, beginning Friday, February 8th at 6:45 pm. This popular panel is moderated by David Cohen, art critic for the New York Sun and editor of Each month, three prominent art critics join David Cohen in discussing four pre-selected exhibitions currently on view in New York museums and galleries, with time allotted for audience response.

This popular series fosters awareness of contemporary art through critical dialogue about exhibitions on view in New York galleries and museums. Past panelists include: Deborah Garwood, Arthur Danto, Roberta Smith, Robert Storr, Karen Wilkin, and Mark Stevens. This spring's line-up includes Svetlana Alpers, Phong Bui, Linda Nochlin, Robert Storr, and more.


Dore Ashton, Joshua Mack, and Stephen Maine join David Cohen to review:

Julian Hattonat at Elizabeth Harris, 529 West 20th Street Byron Kimat at Max Protetch, 511 West 22nd Street Tabaimo at at James Cohan, 533 West 26th Street Andro Wekua at Gladstone, 515 West 24th Street*

In place of Andro Wekua, whose exhibition at Gladstone closed last month, the fourth exhibition to be discussed at the Review Panel will be ALEXANDER ROSS showing at two venues:

-Marianne Boesky Gallery 509 W 24th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues -David Nolan Gallery 560 Broadway at Prince Street
