JENNIFER MULLER: THE WORKS
This internationally acclaimed dance troupe will present Flowers, an innovative work expressing creation and destruction within the Chinese calender cycle. Jennifer Muller has developed her unique dance vocabulary based on Chinese philosophy that acknowledges the body's energy system as the source of movement.

YIN MEI
Born in China and trained in traditional Chinese dance, Yin Mei performs her contemporary works worldwide. In 2005,The Village Voice called the sold-out run of Nomad: The River, "dreamlike--real yet unreal." Her newest work, Magic in the Square Word, blends dance with visual art in an exploration of the pictograph origins of Chinese writing.

MIN XIAO-FEN
Performing on the pipa, a traditional Chinese 4-stringed instrument, Min Xiao-Fen is an international composer, performer and music pioneer. Adventure and exploration remain hallmarks of her work whether playing Tan Dun, Thelonious Monk or her own compositions. Founder of the Blue Pipa Trio, she has played venues as diverse as Joe's Pub and Carnegie Hall.
