“Out of Many” is a series of conversations live streamed every Tuesday evening through the duration of the National Academy of Design’s digital exhibition, e pluribus: Out of Many, which presents work by over 100 National Academicians that imagine what futures can be created if we stop pursuing a mythological national unity and accept our reality as an incongruent collective. e pluribus: Out of Many revives the Academy’s tradition of the Annual Exhibition, which was held from 1826 to 2015 as a survey of new developments in contemporary art and architecture and was curated by American art and cultural historian Dr. Kelli Morgan and designed by Linked by Air.
